FAQ

Short answers to common Mnemo questions.

Is Mnemo a notes app?

It can be—but Mnemo is closer to a personal Memory OS: capture, context, organization, and recall across time and media.

Do I need an account?

No. Accounts are for optional cloud-backed features like encrypted sync.

Who can read my data?

Your local archive is on your device. If you enable sync, ciphertext is designed to reduce exposure in the cloud, but you should still treat exports and devices as sensitive.

Can I export my archive?

Yes—see Import & export.

Does Mnemo publish my memories?

No. Mnemo is not built as a social network or public publishing tool.

Where do I report a bug?

Email info@hellomnemo.com with version and steps to reproduce.
